Jos kaikki menis nappiin ja pääsis lähtemään hienoon reissuun, niin voiskohan joltain/jostain vuokrata spottia reissuun? Ei ehkä viittis ostaa itse, ku ei oikein tiedä viel käyttöastetta. Ois mukava kotopuolen ihmetellä missä sitä viiletetään..

Jos kaikki menis nappiin ja pääsis lähtemään hienoon reissuun, niin voiskohan joltain/jostain vuokrata spottia reissuun?

Kerholla on spotti ja mielestäni olisi tärkeää saada se mukaan tuohon ralliin että kaikki voivat seurata miten kerhon edustajan ajo etenee kisan aikana.

Napsahti aamulla spostiin ET2014 infokirje nro. 2. Kirje sisälsi tapahtuman aikataulun, joka muuttaa peliä kummasti. Legi ykkönen on maksimissaan 38tuntia ja legi kakkonen on kestoltaan maksimissaan 77tuntia, siinähän kerkee vaikka mitä... Eli nyt suunnittelussa on huomioitu, että kartan laidallekkin kerkeen käymään jotenkin.
Esim stuttgart-alta google maps antaa 3122km ja 34h...
tai stuttgart-constanta 2000km 20h...
tai stuttgart-gibraltar 2400km 22h

Kirje toi joitain vastauksia mutta myös lisää pohdittavaa. Koska check in 1 paikka on avoin ei voi arvata kuinka pitkälle tai mihin suuntaa se asettuu.
Bonus paikkojen valtava määrä 425 tarkoittaa ettei millään ehdi analysoida kaikkia vaihtoehtoja vaikka paikat saadaan sähköisesti ajajakokouksessa 12h ennen rallin alkua. Kiusaus on varmaan suuri käyttää yö suunnitteluun mutta siinä tasapainoilee levon ja suunnittelun kanssa. Kisassa jaetaan myös lepo pisteitä "rest bonusta" mutta sen määräytymisperusteet ovat auki joten suunnittelun apuna noita ei voi paljolta käyttää.

Mutta jos ottaa tapahtuman nautinnon kannalta niin kirje oli pelkkää plussaa, ensin ennen starttia illanvietto18-22, jonka päälle pienet unet ja ajelua seuraavaan kohteeseen, missä lieneekään mutta 36h aikaa löytää ja ehtiä paikan päälle. Toinen illanvietto pitkän kaavan kautta 16-21 ja hiukan huilia. Toinen ajaltaan pidempi ajo tai sitten suoraan takaisin lähtöpaikkaan ja valmistautuminen lopetusillallisille. Niin ja tiedoksi kaikille että lopetus juhlat ovat avoinna kaikille joten perjantaina 12.9.2014 klo 19:00 kaikki lopetus Banquettiin ja juhlallisuuksiin mukaan Relaxa Wald hotel Schatten Stuttgart.

In addition to our last newsletter find some more rally news below.
Important: For our scheduling we urgently need your T-Shirt size, please send us an email shortly.
1. Rally fees
We are afraid not all riders have yet paid the final rally fees. If you haven't transferred the final payment, please process it urgently. We want to spend our time in preparing and planning the event rather than watching the payments. Again here is the Paypal address: zahlung@ibagermany.de.
2. Rally-Logo
The European Tour 2014 now has an official rally logo:

By the way, Dave will support us at the rally event!
3. T-Shirt size
We urgently need the T-Short sizes.The shirts are available in the sizes S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL and 5XL.

If we do not hear from you, we will simply choose the size S for all riders who did not answer, and we will help pulling it over
4. Ceremony
If you want to invite somebody to the ceremony (friends, family, etc.) don't forget to write an email soon to Frank and inform us how many like to participate. We then discuss the contribution to expenses with the hotel and inform you shortly. E-Mail: frank@ibagermany.de
5. The bonus points
In the ET 2014 forum some discussions started about the number of bonus locations and a few riders seemed to be scared a bit.
Preparing for the rally we set a high value on bonus points which lead you to the most beautiful routes across Europe and many of those have been personally checked by us before.
The large number of more than 400 locations was chosen, so all locations for Leg 1 and Leg 2 will all be presented at the rider meeting. So you may start planning the rough routes and fine-tune it from time to time in the event. An excellent opportunity is the checkpoint in the "secret hotel". You may take a few hours more in that hotel to adjust your planning for Leg 2. It is likely more difficult to plan everything at the rally start. The likely better option is to plan in separate steps and adjust the route planning from time to time. Don't forget that the fitness likely reduces from day to day and consider this fact in your planning.
This way every rider can choose his/her individual routes and decide which cities and regions of Europe to visit at the event. Those already visited North Cape may decide to see other countries in the rally (just as an example).
As mentioned in the last newsletter, the locations and co-ordinates will be hand-over on a USB memory stick. Typing the co-ordinates manually is not what we want, you'll have more time to focus on the route planning.
And after the rally event there are likely enough bonus points you needed to skip at the rally but want to visit later, so we recommend to keep your bonus book!

The rally team wishes a lot of fun preparing for the rally.
And those who want to exercise a bit are invited to the Ride to Eat events or "to warm up" may register for the Brit Butt Rally, the Scandinavian rally or the Alpenmarathon.
